Events
The Barnard Castle Showfield is an excellent location for steam events. Set in the country side of Teesdale
easily reached from the A66 and A1 road.
The team events attract visitors form all over the North and many from further a field. There are good facilities for exhibitors with camping and toilets on site.
Steam enthusiasts will see fine examples of steam tractors, working machines and showman’s tractors. An interesting feature of the events at Barnard Castle is the agricultural displays of stationary engines.
